Cowley cross country teams shine in winning Friends Invitational
With so many new faces the Cowley College cross country coaches were expecting it to take a while for the newcomers to make the adjustments to running at the college level. Well, after two meets it is apparent they have made those adjustments as each squad finished first at the Friends University Invitational ran Friday at Goddard’s Lake Afton.

Fresh off his first place finish at the season-opening Allen County Invitational, Cowley College freshman Stanley Mugo was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week.
