AUDITIONS FOR THE 2008-2009 TIGERETTES

Placement onto the Tigerettes is done by private audition for the head coach. Applicants are judged on dance style, technique, showmanship, potential, and physical fitness. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Coach Sanderholm to set up your individual tryout. 

Audition Requirements:

  1. Perform a dance routine highlighting your strengths as a dancer.  The routine can be any style and does not have to be original choreography.
  2. Perform/attempt the following technical skills: single pirouette turn, toe touch, and high kicks.
  3. Perform your choice of advanced technical skills (optional).  Examples include double/triple turns, fouette turns, switch leaps, etc.
  4. Bring one letter of recommendation from your coach or a teacher.
  5. Bring a copy of your high school transcript.
