With nine ties and 11 lead changes in the final 20 minutes of the Cowley College men’s basketball game vs. Independence on Wednesday, Tiger freshmen Sanijay Watts’ basket with 1.8 seconds left sent the Cowley fans home happy as Cowley slipped past the Pirates 75-74.

Midnight Madness October 1, 2006

Cowley Crazies Midnight Madness held Saturday at W.S. Scott Auditorium/Dan Kahler Court. The event gave Tiger basketball fans their first opportunity to see the 2006-07 basketball teams. Harvey won the slam dunk contest, while James Loe won the three-point contest. Along with performances by the Tiger basketball teams, there were performances by the Cowley dance and cheer squads. The men's basketball team concluded the evening with an intrasquad scrimmage.
