Stanley was on her way to an outstanding freshman year when a season ending knee injury in the 41st game brought her season to an abrupt end. She was hitting .269 with 20 runs scored and 17 RBI's at the time of her injury. Her true value to the team was with her defense as she was quick, had good range, and an outstanding throwing arm. She has been going through rehab the last six months and is expected to be healthy by the time the spring season starts.
