Meeker was a pleasant surprise in 2004 as she didn't have the opportunity to gain experience by playing high school softball at South Haven. She started 56 games at first Base and batted .346, with 21 runs scored and 45 RBI's. Meeker was one of the top power hitters on the team with eight doubles, six triples, one home run, and a .494 slugging percentage. Meeker also excels with her defensive play as she had only seven errors in 356 chances last year for a .980 fielding average.
