Will redshirt this season after suffering an injury in the fall. Justina should make an immediate impact for the Lady Tigers as she will battle for the starting shortstop position. As a senior at Emporia High Justina led the Lady Spartans in nearly every offensive category including a .395 batting average while hitting in the three spot. She was named 2nd team All-Centennial League shortstop as a sophomore and was named 1st team All-League shortstop her junior and senior seasons. Besides leading Emporia High to the Kansas State Championship softball tournament twice she also played shortstop, catcher and outfield for the 2004 Kansas State USSSA champions Kansas Best summer team.
