Spencer had an outstanding freshman season as she was named 1st team
All-Jayhawk Conference, Jayhawk East Most Valuable Player, 1st team
All-Region VI and 2nd team All-American. She was 24-1
as a pitcher with a 1.20 earned run average and 147 strikeouts in
152 innings. She also batted .356 with four home runs , 34
runs scored and 23 RBI’s. She will be the #1 pitcher
for the Lady Tigers and probably DH when not pitching this spring. She
could also see limited duty at first base.
