Seemann was one of the top players in the Wichita Metro area her junior and senior seasons. As a junior she batted .479, was named to the Wichita Eagle’s All-Metro Top 11 team, First-Team All-AVCTL D1 outfield, First-Team Class 6A All-State outfield and led the Eagles to the Kansas 6A State Championship. As a senior she batted .471, again was named First-Team All-AVCTL D1 outfield and repeated as a First-Team 6A All-State outfield selection. In the fall she played mostly centerfield and batted .259 with seven runs scored, four doubles and seven runs batted in. Seemann will likely begin the season as the starting centerfielder for the Lady Tigers.
