Strawn was one of the best players in Oklahoma her senior year. She
batted .444, scored 28 runs, had 14 extra base hits, contributed
29 runs batted in and had a .545 on base percentage. Her
senior year she was named First-Team All-Mid State Conference in
both, fast pitch and slow pitch, First-Team All-Region in fast
pitch and slow pitch, First-Team All-State shortstop in fast pitch,
First-Team All-State centerfield in slow pitch, Southmoore High
School Female Athlete of the Year, Southmoore Player of the Year
in fast pitch and slow pitch, and Southmoore Most Valuable Player
in fast pitch and slow pitch. This past fall she batted .425 with
23 runs scored, 10 extra base hits and 21 runs batted in. Strawn
will be the starting second baseman this spring, but will also
see some backup duty at shortstop and in the outfield.
