Cornejo joined the Lady Tigers at semester break and will play this spring. She was a four-time Walter Johnson League All-Star selection at shortstop, making first team her junior and senior seasons. She batted .450 as a senior with 25 RBI’s, 24 runs scored and 18 stolen bases. Cornejo is a good contact hitter with some power, a good defensive player with a strong arm and will compete for playing time at several different positions.
