Last year Davis put together one of the best individual seasons ever at Cowley. She led the nation in wins (29-5), led the nation in strikeouts (309), led the nation in strikeouts per inning (1.60) and was fourth in the nation in ERA (0.98). Davis had 16 shutouts and two shared shutouts. She was named First-Team All-Conference, Freshman of the Year in the Jayhawk East Conference, Jayhawk East Conference Most Valuable Player, First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-American. She was also a finalist for the Greater Wichita Area Sports Banquet College Female Athlete of the Year.
