Juden had an outstanding high school career as she led the Ark City Bulldogs to two Kansas 5A State Championships and was named to the Kansas All-State team all four years. As a senior she was 20-0 and gave up one earned run all season. She finished her career with 12 no-hitters and 47 consecutive wins. Juden had 50 career shutouts and was a two-time most Valuable Player in the Ark-Valley/Chisholm Trail League. She initially signed with the University of Arkansas out of high school.
