Klick was a First-Team All-Centennial League shortstop at Manhattan in 2006 and 2007 as she batted .378 her senior season. She played shortstop for the Kansas State Techno-Kats and led them to the 2006 Kansas ASA 18-under Class B State Championship and National Runner Up. Klick is a lefty slapper who can hit the ball down and beat it out or drive the ball into the outfield. She will compete for the starting job at the vacated shortstop position.
