Danielle concluded an outstanding freshman season by being named Second-Team All-Conference, First-Team All-Region and Second-Team All-American as a designated hitter. She finished second on the team in hitting at .402, led the team in doubles with 12, and added 31 runs scored, 31 RBI’s, four home runs and 16 bases on balls. Saylor-Perkins may see some time as a designated hitter and first baseman, but most of her playing time will come from the starting rightfield position. She will hit in one of the power spots in the order.
