March 28, 2010, the Cowley College Cheer Squad attended a Jam Fest Competition in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

US Finals

Cheer squad places first at U.S. Finals

After receiving a bid from COA Nationals, members of the Cowley College cheer squad competed at the U.S. Finals in Oklahoma City, Okla., on April 18 and received first place.

The cheerleaders are waiting on three other competitions to finish to see where they are ranked in the United States.

Cowley Spirit Squad takes home trophy from National Championships

Placing first as a team at the COA Mid America National Championships in Kansas City, Mo. on March 29, the Cowley College Spirit Squad accepted a bid to compete at the U.S. Finals held in Oklahoma City, Okla., on April 18.

“They performed very well, I am proud of them,” said Spirit Squad head coach Rikki Hettenbach.
