Head Trainer Jeff Fluty

Jeff Fluty begins his fourth year as head athletic trainer.

Fluty earned a degree from Southwestern College in health and physical education with an emphasis in athletic training in 2002. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas.

After graduating from Southwestern, he spent a year as an athletic trainer at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., where he worked with the baseball and football teams.

However, he returned to Southwestern in August 2003 to be the school’s head athletic trainer, and held the position until 2005.

Fluty is the son of Mike and Theresa Fluty. He has two children, Michael 13, and Lauren, 12.

Assistant Athletic Trainer Jeff Simundic

Jeff Simundic begins his first year as assistant athletic trainer.

Simundic obtained a bachelors degree in athletic training from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2005 before attaining his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Recreation from Illinois State University in 2007.

During his time at Illinois State, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Bradley University.
