Madron named First-Team All-American

One of the top hitters to ever put on a Cowley Tiger baseball uniform, Cowley College sophomore centerfielder Bryce Madron recently capped a tremendous career at the school by being named a First Team NJCAA Division I All-American. Madron led the Tigers in nearly every single offensive category as he helped Cowley finish as the national runner-up at the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, CO.

Madron broke the school record for hits in a career (185), doubles in a season (27), doubles in a career (49), runs scored in a career (183), and tied the school record for home runs in a season (20), runs scored in a season (96), and hits in a season (103).

During his two seasons at the school, Madron helped Cowley capture a pair of conference and region titles, win 101 games, and advance to the JUCO World Series.

Madron, who batted over .400 both years at Cowley, will spend next season playing for the University of Oklahoma.
