Tigerette Danceline does well at American Dance Championships

The Cowley College Tigerette Danceline competed in the American Dance Championship March 24-25 in Denton, Texas.
The team was named second runner-up in the Collegiate Division II team category. Division II includes junior colleges and small four-year universities. The Tigerettes were also named Academic runner-up based on the team's cumulative grade point average.
Four Tigerettes performed solo routines in the collegiate solo competition. The soloists were: Brandy Hallacy, Carrissa Kelley, Meagan Martinson, and Jessica Hudson. Hallacy was a solo finalist and was named National Collegiate Solo runner-up. She received a silver award plate and medal for her efforts.
Members that competed in the team category were: Haylie Bybee, Hallacy, Hudson, Kelley, Martinson, Tiffany Miley, Stephanie Ramazzini, Kentra Rathgeber, Renee Vogel, and Katie Williams. The team is coached by Lindsay Sanderholm.
