All 10 Tigers that played scored in the win, and Cowley had seven players who finished in double figures.
"It was good to get everyone some playing time and experience," Cowley head coach Donnie Jackson said.
Freshman Winston Allen led Cowley with 20 points, while Whitlock and CJ Majors added 19 and 18 points, respectively.
Grayson Shoemaker led the Southwestern JV with 17 points, while Arkansas City High School graduate Trevor Pierce had 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
Cowley will prepare to open conference play when they travel to play Pratt Community College (4-1) on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
"Now the real games start," Jackson said. "Nothing matters what you did in the preseason. Everyone is 0-0. Pratt is playing very well. They are playing extremely hard and playing together. It will be a hostile environment on Wednesday, so we will need to be ready."
