Bio
Eusebio “Chevy” Plaza enters his third year as an assistant coach for the Cowley College men’s and women’s soccer teams.
Plaza helped both teams qualify for the national tournament during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Both squads captured District titles for the second year in a row and the Tiger men finished as the national runner-up.
Before coming to Cowley, Coach Chevy spent the previous nine years providing goalkeeping training for each of Sporting Wichita’s soccer teams. Coach Chevy has also coached boy’s teams across all levels, from U12 to U18, and excels at organization and innovative training sessions.
His extensive experience and expertise have been beneficial to the Tiger soccer teams.
Along with his duties at Cowley, Coach Plaza took over as head coach for the Sporting Wichita First team UPSL (United Premier Soccer League) during the 2024 season.
