The Cowley College women's pole vault squad had a massive day, with all three girls (Dakota Dapper, Kennedy Kizarr, and Elizabeth Brozek) achieving personal best marks.
"All three had top 15 marks in the program's history, and all three have punched their ticket to the national meet," Cowley head coach Cameron Rieth said. "This group of girls has also established themselves as the best trio of women's vaulters in program history."
Sophomore Cierra Gray also performed well while placing first in the shot put, and freshman Grace Knight's time of 1:02.35 in the 400-meter dash was the 12th fastest time run in program history.
The Tiger men were led by reigning Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Field Athlete of the Week, Victor Morfin, who placed fourth in the high jump (6-4 ¾).
On Friday, the Cowley College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will compete at the Wichita State University K.T. Woodman Classic.
