Defending champion tennis team tied for first after day two of national tourney

The defending national champion Cowley College women's tennis team is currently in a tie for first place after advancing each of its singles players and doubles teams to the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Division I National Championships played in Tyler, TX.

Quarterfinal play will resume on Monday, and the tournament will conclude on Wednesday.

After two days of play, the Lady Tigers are tied for first place with Tyler Junior College (TX) and Hillsborough College (FL), while Eastern Florida State Community College is in fourth place, just one point behind the leaders.
