Gray repeats as Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors have been announced, with Cowley College sophomore Cierra Gray and Cloud County freshman Maimuna Jallow bringing home the week three awards.

Gray earned her second-straight KJCCC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor after winning the shot put at the NAIA/JUCO Challenge hosted by Pittsburg State University this past weekend. The sophomore also placed seventh in the weight throw. Gray's mark in the shot put of 13.84 meters (45 ft. – 5 in.) is currently ranked fifth in the NJCAA.
Jallow won the 60 meters (7.35 seconds) and 200 meters (24.39 seconds) with meet records at the NAIA/JUCO Challenge hosted by Pittsburg State University. Both times rank in the top three in the NJCAA this season, with the 60-meter time ranking 13th on the NJCAA all-time charts.
