"Izzy is a strong and intelligent DS/Libero with much experience and exceptional ball control. She comes to Cowley with great coachability, high volleyball IQ, a competitive drive and passion for the game, great reading skills, strong serve receive skills, and aggressive play on defense," head coach Steven Gream said. "Izzy comes to us with a lot of experience, from a quality program, and is very familiar with our program after playing against us last year with her NEO team. We look for her to really enhance our serve, receive, and back row defense to allow us to run our high-powered offense and get quality stops."
Off the court, in high school, Isabella balanced her athletic career with academic excellence, participating in Business Practicum and DECA, and earning a college scholarship through her on-campus bank internship. Bueno also gave back to the community by helping to lead volleyball camps and clinics during her summer breaks for up-and-coming middle school volleyball players.
