Sophomore who has a solid base in the pole vault. During her freshman season, she made great strides to improve her vault. She will help the team on the regional and conference level and has the ability to qualify for nationals.

The Cowley College Lady Tigers got off to a fast start at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships held Thursday at Gowns Stadium in Hutchinson, KS. Led by three All-Americans, Cowley is in eighth place after day one of competition.
The Cowley College women’s and men’s track and field teams were led by a combined eight conference champions and four region champs as the Lady Tigers captured the conference title and the men finished second at the Outdoor Region VI/Jayhawk Conference Championships held this past weekend at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Coffeyville, KS.
Continuing to put up impressive performances in the pole vault, Cowley College sophomore Dakota Dapper was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row. Cloud County’s Maimouna Jallow was named the KJCCC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Cowley College sophomore pole vaulter Dakota Dapper and Cloud County runner N Vanee Anchike were recently named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Week 3 Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
With sophomores Cierra Gray and Dakota Dapper earning All-American honors, the Cowley College women’s track and field team placed 19th at the indoor championships held Friday and Saturday in Lubbock, TX.
With five conference champions and three region champs, the Cowley College women’s track and field team repeated as conference champions at the Region VI/Jayhawk Conference Indoor Championships held Saturday and Sunday at Pittsburg State University.
For the third straight week, Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors have been earned by a Cowley College athlete. Lady Tiger sophomore Dakota Dapper took the honors in week three.
