Coach’s Comments: "Gyongyver is an exciting player with explosive skills who can play both sides of the ball well. She is a well-rounded athlete who provides us with more options than the standard middle hitter by being able to run multiple sets, serve tough, and have a great defensive presence. Her powerful attack with a variety of sets, excellent blocking skills, and energy on the court provides us with a valuable weapon on the court." 
 
2021 (Freshmen): Played in 130 sets... recorded 264 kills at 2.03 kills per set, a .461 hitting percentage, 51 aces, 100 digs, and 78 blocks...Named Second Team All-District, KJCCC Second Team All-Conference, and was named to the Cowley Inivitational Tournament All-Tournament team.
 
Before Cowley: Prepped at Balatonfüredi Szent Benedek Középiskola és Kollégium in Balatonfüred, Hungary. She began playing volleyball for Bekescabai RSE Club in A1 HUN in 2011 and played for the program until 2019. In 2020, she began playing for Szent Benedek Roplabda Akademia Club in A1 HUN. In addition to playing for these clubs, she also played for the U17 Hungarian National team. In 2018, her national team finished 12th in the European championship and finished fourth in the Mevza tournament. In 2019, her U19 team finished in first place in the Hungarian Championship, BRSE.

Volleyball remains unbeaten; Coach Gream earns 200th win at Cowley

The wins continue to pile up for the No. 2-ranked Cowley College volleyball team as they went 2-0 at the Cowley Tri-Match played Saturday inside W.S. Scott Auditorium. The Lady Tigers opened with a 25-9, 25-12, 25-18 victory over NJCAA Division I opponent Cisco College before knocking off the Ottawa University JV 25-18, 25-12, 25-18.

Lady Tigers drop first set of the season, bounce back to win at Allen

Winners of 25 straight sets to open the season, the No. 2-ranked Cowley College volleyball team suffered its first loss of a set in its match at Allen Community College Wednesday in Iola. However, the Lady Tigers responded with a vengeance in winning the match by a score of 25-17, 19-25, 25-9, 25-11.
