Coaches Comments: “Hanna is an exceptional and athletic setter that has athleticism and solid setting technique, court awareness, and discipline to go with her great leaping ability, quickness, consistency and aggressiveness. Hanna possesses strong court leadeship with the ability to read defenses and provide the right set to the right hitter and attack the ball when the situation allows. These qualities along with her ability to run a faster tempo offense and her ability to place the ball to her hitters in and out of system is crucial in running our offense at Cowley. She had an excellent freshman season and we look for her to have an even better sophomore season with her great experience and skill set."
2024 (Freshman): Played in 117 sets...1,440 assists at 12.31 assists per set, 63 kills, a .276 hitting percentage, 312 digs at 2.67 digs per set, 63 aces, and 30 blocks. Her 1,440 assists placed her fourth in the nation and her 12.31 assists per set was tops in the nation. She was also first in the region in total assists and assists per set, fourth in total aces, and third in aces per set. Her 1,440 assists rank her seventh all-time in Cowley history...Named NJCAA First Team All-American, AVCA First Team All-American, First Team All-District, KJCCC First Team All-Conference, KJCCC Freshman of the Year, KJCCC Setter of the Year, Two time AVCA Athlete of the Week, Two time NJCAA DII Offensive Player of the Week, Eight time KJCCC Setter of the Week, named to the Cowley Inivitational Tournament All-Tournament team, and Cowley College Athlete of the Month.
Before Cowley: Prepped at Arany Janos Altalanos Iskola es Gimnazium in Szazhalombatta, Hungary. Born in New York City, New York, she later settled in Hungary where she had a stellar volleyball career. She began playing volleyball for Delta RSE Erd in 2012 and played for the club until 2021. While there, she led the program to national championships in 2016 and 2018 and also the bronze medal in the national championships in 2019. That year she named the MVP of the team. In 2021, she played for Budaorsi DSE volleyball club until 2023. In the 2023-24 season, she played for MTK-Budapest.
